The State's Governing Organization for State
Championship Tournaments

 

The purpose of this organization shall be the encouragement of organized rifle, pistol, and shotgun shooting events within the State of Nebraska in support of nationally recognized shooting programs. The NMA shall be the primary point of contact within the State of Nebraska for the National Rifle Association (NRA) and the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP), and, as such, shall be the official sanctioning body within the State of Nebraska for NRA and CMP shooting events. The NMA may also serve as the primary state point of contact for other similar National or state associations, as required.

Nebraska Firearms Owners Association (NFOA)

Our membership is open to all types of firearms owners as long as you are a resident of the state of Nebraska. Whether you are a trap shooter, long-range rifle shooter, concealed handgun permit holder, air gun, rifle and or shotgun hunter, NFA firearms enthusiast or any other group of firearms owner you are welcome to join our organization. The best thing about our organization is that membership will not cost you anything!

 

We are local firearms owners who have a personal interest in representing firearms owners rights in Nebraska. While there are much larger firearms owner groups and lobbyists, we have a personal stake right here in fighting for our rights. We do not have big money to fly in lobbyists from the coasts, we do not have the money to wine and dine Legislators, and we are just everyday normal Nebraska residents like you who want our voices to be heard by the various law makers. Best of all, we will not send you any mailings begging for money like the large national firearms owner groups. We will operate on a low budget and make due with what money is donated to us voluntarily.
